The head of Rimac showed his own hypercar Rimac Nevera
The Croatian company Rimac Auomobili, known for its electric hypercar Nevera, was founded back in 2009. The head of the company, Mate Rimac, has just now acquired his own copy of the electric car and, according to him, turned out to be not the easiest client for his company. Exactly how much the hypercar cost the director of Rimac is not specified.
Like other Rimac customers, Mate Rimac spent a long time discussing options for personalizing his own copy with the company’s designers, but in the end his original idea was realized. Nevera received a carbon fiber body with red tinting, and the details were made in such a way that the visible fibers of the carbon fibers created a single visual flow. This requires a special manufacturing and installation process for the panels.
Croatian flags are hand-painted on the side mirrors, and a lightning bolt is depicted under the rear lift-up wing. This is a reference to the Mediterranean storms off the coast of Croatia, after which the hypercar is named.
The interior of the N evera is decorated in an asymmetrical color scheme that combines red and black shades. In addition, the design uses images of ancient sculptures stored in the Archaeological Museum of Zagreb and considered the property of the country.
Nevera is currently the only model of the Croatian company and is equipped with four electric motors with a total output of 1914 hp. Last year, the electric car became the fastest battery-powered sports car on the Nurburgring, and also entered the Guinness Book of Records for the speed record when driving in reverse. Nevera’s most notable achievement, which was achieved in 2023, is the fastest acceleration to 400 km/h, followed by braking to a complete stop. The electric car spent less than 30 seconds on this exercise .
