The new Citroen Ami Charleston was designed by Italian designer Massimo Biancone. It was inspired by the classic 1980 Citroen 2CV Charleston.

The Citroen Ami electric car received the same two-tone red and black paint job as its famous ancestor. The interior now features an original single-spoke steering wheel in the style of a Citroen 2CV.

In addition, the interior trim has been improved, with rubber mats and a central rear-view mirror. The roof is retractable, like the 2CV.

The technical characteristics of the Citroen Ami Charleston have not changed. The compact 2.4-meter electric car is equipped with a modest 8-horsepower engine and develops 45 km/h. In some European countries it can be driven without a driver’s license and from the age of 16. The 5.5 kWh battery provides a range of 75 km.
