2025 Fiat Grande Panda hatchback Electric Vehicle

Fiat has released the initial images of the 2025 Fiat Grande Panda hatchback. According to the outlines, it will resemble the contemporary Citroen C3 and Opel Frontera, with some design cues coming from the 1980s original Panda. The new product will be sold across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, but the exact launch date and pricing have not yet been disclosed.

The Grande Panda will, in actuality, be the Punto model’s oblique heir, after it was withdrawn in 2018. It was offered in two generations concurrently in the latter part of the 2000s; the third and final generation was dubbed Grande Punto to set it apart from the Punto Classic.

The new Fiat Grande Panda has 17-inch wheels, an angular design, and “pixel” lighting. The brand name is imprinted in the area of the left lamp on the back, and it is featured in the “light signature” of the head optics on the front. Using the same technique, large Panda inscriptions were painted on the doors.

As with the Citroen C3, a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine hybrid setup is anticipated for the Grande Panda, along with an all-electric variant that uses a 44 kWh battery and a front-axle engine producing 113 horsepower.

The Citroen C3’s hybrid and electric drivetrains, which are expected to be offered for the Grande Panda, will also be accessible for it. A mild hybrid system, a 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with three cylinders, and a dual-clutch, six-speed automatic gearbox are to be expected. While the electric motor temporarily adds 28 horsepower, the petrol engine may produce up to 100 horsepower. But when it comes to acceleration, the e-motor only produces 12 horsepower.

It is possible that the 113 horsepower motor and 44.0 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery from the e-C3 will be carried over to the fully electric Grande Panda, giving it a range of 199 miles. Beginning in 2025, Citroen also plans to offer a less expensive 124-mile e-C3.
