Toyota TRD Pro Gets New Honeycomb and Hot Honey Paint for 2027

Toyota is adding two new paint colours to its TRD Pro lineup for the 2027 model year. The company calls them Honeycomb and Hot Honey. These golden hues aim to give the trucks and SUVs a bold look.

The Tundra, Tacoma, and Sequoia will offer Honeycomb paint. The 4Runner will get Hot Honey instead. Toyota says the glossy finishes highlight the adventurous character of these off-road models.

The changes go beyond paint. The Sequoia and Tundra receive new Fox shocks for better control on rough terrain. The Tacoma and Tundra also gain available ISO-dynamic seats. These seats help improve comfort and stability during off-road driving.

Outside the TRD Pro range, the Sequoia and Tundra will also offer the Trailhunter trim for 2027. This trim was first used on the Tacoma. It includes stronger suspension parts, larger tires, and underbody protection. The Trailhunter models will not offer the new Honeycomb paint.

Toyota has not yet released full pricing or exact Canadian availability details. More information should arrive closer to the model year launch.

The new Toyota TRD Pro Paint options show how the brand continues to refresh its popular off-road vehicles. Buyers who want a standout look will have more choices when the 2027 models arrive.
