The new Tesla Roadster can fly says Elon Musk!

Once more, Elon Musk promises that the Tesla Roadster will be able to take to the skies “Coming next year.”

The next-generation Tesla Roadster’s prototype was first shown in 2017 with an expected 2020 release date, however, since then, each year has seen a delay in manufacturing.

Tesla promised dozens of free new Roadsters to customers who took part in its referral programme years ago, but it has since become a type of running joke, and it seems unlikely that it will ever reach the market.

However, CEO Elon Musk’s unusual new remarks early this year regarding the upcoming Tesla Roadster revived hopes that the car will eventually be produced.

Since the next-generation Roadster’s design is already seven years old, Musk stated that Tesla will present a much-needed updated version of the car, which he predicted would hit the market in 2025.

Since then, there has been no update on the car, and it was not included in Tesla’s presentation at the shareholders meeting.

Now, Musk has once more stated that the new Tesla Roadster “can fly” in an unusual new comment:
