Ford Fathom Canada Price: Electric Pickup from $38,690

The Ford Fathom Canada price starts around $38,690 after the federal rebate on the standard-range model. Some listings show a base near $42,690 before incentives. Preorder invites are now open on Ford’s website. Official pre-orders are expected in early 2027, with customer deliveries later that year.

This is Ford’s most affordable electric pickup yet. It sits well below the F-150 Lightning. A Clean Energy Canada poll found that 37 percent of EV-inclined buyers said there are still too few electric pickup options. The Fathom is meant to answer that.

What the Fathom offers

The truck uses Ford’s new Universal EV platform and a 400-volt system with a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery. Rear-wheel drive is standard. All-wheel drive is available. Ford has not released official Canadian range, charging speed, or payload numbers yet.

Every Fathom includes a large touchscreen with Apple Maps, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. A digital key and bidirectional charging are also standard. Hardware for BlueCruise hands-free highway driving is built in on every truck. Ford says the four-door cabin has more passenger space than a Toyota RAV4.

Production will take place at the Louisville Assembly Plant in Kentucky after a major upgrade. First Canadian deliveries are scheduled for late 2027.

Rebate and timing

The after-rebate figure assumes the 2027 EVAP amount and a final transaction value at or under $50,000. The federal rebate drops from $5,000 in 2026 to $4,000 in 2027. Freight and options can still push a deal over the cap. Confirm the live contract price before you sign.

Range and charging details are still missing. Wait for the full reveal before you treat the invite list as a firm order.
