Kia has just dropped the 2027 EV4 GT – the performance version of its stylish compact electric sedan. This range-topper starts at $58,595 in Canada ($61,344 all-in). It packs 288 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque. That’s a big jump from the other EV4 AWD models (262 hp and 284 lb-ft).
Power & Range
The EV4 GT uses the same 81.4-kWh lithium-ion battery. Kia says you get an estimated 431 km of range on a full charge. Real-world tests from similar EV4 models show strong efficiency, even in Canadian winter conditions. Fast DC charging comes standard, with an optional 22 kW onboard charger for quicker home use.
Styling & Interior
GT models get neon accents on the brake calipers, special 20-inch wheels, and unique neon LED details. The cabin stands out with suede and synthetic leather seats plus a “GT” steering wheel button for instant extra power. You also get a heads-up display and GT-themed instrument cluster.
Canada Launch
Buyers can order the EV4 GT right now through Canadian dealers. It comes in fun colours like Magma Red and Yacht Blue. Kia offers a strong warranty and this model qualifies for the federal EV rebate.
Compare with Base EV4
The regular 2026 Kia EV4 starts at just $38,995 – one of the cheapest long-range EVs in Canada. The GT adds real performance and premium touches without jumping too far in price.
